People rushed to the electronics store to avail the 20% discount on the energy efficient appliances like dishwashers, clothes washers, water heater and refrigerators.

At 11 A.M on Friday the Florida rebates for appliances were made available to people online through a website. The website not only provides details about the rebate and the facilities which the households will enjoy from the program, but also provides the opportunity to the residents to get the priority number. According to the Florida rebates for appliances website the rebate which began on 16.4.2010, will end on 25.4.2010 or when the fund will get exhausted. The website mentions that the aim for providing the rebate is to provide job opportunities for the manufacturers and also to encourage people to conserve electricity and water, decreasing the monthly bill in turn.
