NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-Wills Fashion Week 2010 which was scheduled to set off today at 12 pm came to a halting stop after a team of cops appeared on the scene asking for the permit orders for conducting the show. Failure to produce the orders resulted the cops in calling off the show while all the models stood speechless in their makeup and costumes. They said that the show was temporarily stopped owing to the fact that the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) failed to maintain the fire safety standards at the show.
However, it is now being said that the Wills Fashion Week 2010 shall be restarted at around 7 pm in the evening which shall carry on with the same schedule as planned earlier. Minissha Lamba along with Rana Gill shall be walking the ramp at the very onset of the show following which Sushmita Sen will grace the show with her presence flaunting a Ritu Beri collection. Soon after there will be making an appearance alongside the famous accessory designer Little Shilpa.
The Wills Fashion Week 2010 shall also be showcasing the collections of participating designers like Ritu Kumar, J.J. Valaya, Ritu Beri, Leena Singh and Tarun Tahiliani who are said to be all geared up with their latest offerings to impress and allure all. However, the venue for the current Wills Fashion Week 2010 has been shifted to the National Small Industries Corporation Grounds (NSIC) in the Industrial Area of Okla. Earlier the show used to be held at the Pragati Maidan which also hosted the last years’ Wills Fashion Week. The current Fashion week that will be held is about to kick off on March 24 and shall continue up till March 28.
