Andromeda Strain Author’s Art Auction
NEW YORK, (GaeaTimes.com)- Michael Crichton, the author of bestselling novel “Andromeda Strain” had an immense love for all art items. Post the death of the “Andromeda Strain” author, Christie’s at New York will be hosting an auction show that shall have all collections of the renownedauthor.
It is being said that the Andromeda Strain author has in his collection many a notable works by Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper John and Pablo Picasso. The Andromeda Strain Author auction show is all scheduled to take place at the Christie’s on May 11. Andromeda Strain Author Michael Crichton was also the proud owner of the “Flag” which happens to be an iconic creation by the master Jasper Johns that has been latent from the general public for over 18 years now. The auction will also have works of Pablo Picasso along with David Hockney, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koon, Ed Ruscha, Robert Rauschenberg and Claes Oldenburg. The auction will also witness the showcasing of Lichtenstein’s “Figures in Landscape” along with “Girl in Water”.
