White House gate-crashers on list for Vegas party
LAS VEGAS — The infamous couple who gate-crashed the White House are planning a Las Vegas nightclub outing, but this time they’re definitely on the guest list.
Would-be reality TV couple Tareq and Michaele Salahi are scheduled to party Jan. 16 at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip.
The party comes less than two months after the publicity-seeking Salahis made their way into a state dinner without being approved guests.
Pure spokesman Michael Gilmartin says the couple is getting a flight, accommodations, dinner and an undisclosed sum of cash to appear at the club.
Gilmartin says the arrangements are routine for nightclubs that bring in headline guests, but far less lucrative than offers made to A-list entertainers.
